Inland on the South Western Highway 30 km south of Perth. Famous as the home of Pioneer World, which is a mock-up of a 19thC Australian pioneer village (see photo), filled with various mock-up characters. After visiting such a spot, the suspicion grows that some of the real old gold prospectors and the like were equally cliched characters.
