Boyden Cavern

Weird marble formations

The permanently cool innards of Boyden Cavern offer a welcome respite on a hot day, and the 45-minute guided tours which pass through the cavern provide intriguing insights into the processes which – over the last 300,000 years – have created the weird marble formations deep inside. The water responsible for these surreal sculptures still drips eerily from the cavern’s roof.
