Most impressive in spring, when the red granite is covered with beautiful wild flowers, this dramatic wave-lashed headland is ideal for clearing the head. In fine weather you can sometimes spot Jersey; but you may equally be wrapped in a dense sea fog, seeing nothing and hearing only the sound of wind and waves and the ominous hooting of fog horns. Park at the lighthouse (visits in season), and stroll around the cape.
