Turn south at Campomaggiore station and keep right at Pietrapertoso turning. You climb to a fine viewpoint over the pinnacled hills and ravines of the Lucanian Dolomites (Lucania is the old name for Basilicata). Caves and natural curiosities decorate the surrounding wilderness.
