Adrift in a rural backwater, this vast and elegant 17th-18thC château appears like a mirage beside the quiet country road. The long, low red brick and stone facade fronts a series of sunny, beautifully-furnished rooms, and you can wander in the 100-hectare deer park or take a drive in a horse-drawn carriage.
