On Route 309, 58 km south of Venice. A junior version of Venice and, on account of its compact streets, canals and bridges, historic market hall and coloured fishing boats, preferred by many artists and discerning tourists. Beyond the pine trees at the harbour entrance is a beach called Sottomarina which shows signs of becoming another Lido.
