Cloverdale
Fiddle Festival
On Hwy-101,18 miles North of Healdsburg. Hwy-101 speeds through the center of Cloverdale, once a major producer of citrus fruits but now a rural hamlet better known for its Old Time Fiddle Festival and its summer sheep-dog trials. The Cloverdale Historical Museum, 215 N. Cloverdale Boulevard, tenders the minutiae of days gone by, but if you like Californian wine, the tours and tastings at the Bandiera Winery, 115 Cherry Creek Road, are a greater temptation.
