The town has a shy exterior and inner fascinations. The duomo’s carved angels and red marble lions look across the piazza at the 500-year-old business of Orfini, the printing house which first brought out Dante’s Divine Comedy in 1470. Nearby Palazzo Trinci has paintings by Alunno and Gozzoli.
