Lake Tahoe Cruises

The Tahoe Queen

At some point when driving around Lake Tahoe it is inevitable that you will feel the urge to travel across it by boat. From South Lake Tahoe, a restored paddle steamer, the Tahoe Queen, sails to Emerald Bay and back, and at night hosts a dinner-dance cruise (http://www.zephyrcove.com/cruises/daytime-scenic-cruises/). Another paddle-steamer, the M.S. Dixie II, plies between Zephyr Cove (on the Nevada side of the lake, a few miles north of Stateline) and Emerald Bay, and makes several other lake cruises.
