Leasingham

World-class low-price red wine

140 km north of Adelaide. This sublime small village is situated in the Clare Valley, which lies west of the Barrier Highway north of Adelaide. What’s so exceptional about this rather ordinary-looking spot? In our opinion this spot produces the most delicious low-medium priced red wine in the world – and it’s available all over the world, too. The one with the blended cabernet and malbec grapes is the best, in our opinion. If you’re still only thinking about visiting Australia, this’ll clinch it. You can visit the Clare Valley Leasingham winery whilst in town and pick up a bargain bottle or two, or three (www.leasingham-wines.com.au).
