Maison de Balzac
Enchanting hideaway
47 rue Raynouard, 16e. Quite the most enchanting writer’s hideaway reached through a small garden, Honore de Balzac’s Parisian cottage displays manuscripts, accounts, engravings and a library. They build a fascinating portrait of the novelist who lived here in Passy for seven years during the 1840s, and completed the series of novels known as La Comedie Humaine.
