One of the most celebrated wines in the region, a sweet, golden vin liquoreux, comes from Monbazillac (6 km S of Bergerac via the D13). The local caves co-operative combine tours of the pocket-sized 16thC Château de Monbazillac with tastings of several regional wines and direct sales.
