On the coast, 90 km North of Cairns. Small sleepy town in the sugar-cane region. The only point of interest is the Mossman Gorge 4 km inland, which has some great swimming holes amongst the rapids. There’s also a 3.5-km ‘Aborigine’ walk which takes you through the rainforest past an Aborigine settlement.
