Hedged in with disastrous suburbs, Narni’s monumental artistic patrimony includes a broken Roman bridge (subject of one of Corot’s greatest paintings), a 10thC duomo, and a thoroughly medieval centre. The hermit’s cave of Sant’ Urbano, in a picturesque spot, is 13 km south-east.
