Rivoli
The ‘Versailles of Piedmont’
Having no connection with the Rivoli of Parisian fame, it is nevertheless known as the Versailles of Piedmont. It was the largest palace ever built for the palatially-preoccupied Savoy family. The architect was Filippo Juvarra, a name to conjure with in Piedmont (he also did important work in Turin). Fine views.
