Rosslyn Bay

Ferry port for the Keppel Islands

7 km east of Yeppoon, which is 40 km north of Rockhampton. This is the spot where the ferries leave for the justly renowned Keppel Islands, which are around 10 km offshore. There are also boats to Northwest Island, which is eight times that distance out on the reef.

Behind the terminal the sea winds have sculpted the cliffs into hexagonal columns, which are almost as fascinating to look at as they are to read about. If you’ve got a long wait for a ferry, head west for the beaches.
