Well-preserved archetypal village of the Campidano wine-producing district. Houses are of the Roman domus type, built of sun-dried mud and straw, with arched doorways, inner courts and south-facing porticoes on wooden columns called iolle. Wine is stored in large casks in ground-level cellars.
