But out of season is definitely the best time to stride along the beach and view the bizarre piles of rose-coloured rocks strewn along the shore and sprinkled across the bay. From the Plage de Coz Pors, west to the Grève Blanche, and around the corner to the Grève Rose, these strange weathered granite sculptures set the imagination racing. Many of the groups have special names, but it is more fun to make up your own.
