On the coast across Cobaki Creek, just South of Coolangatta. Tweed Heads is the southern end of the Gold Coast. Down here it’s less hectic, but ironically you often get better surf than at Surfer’s Paradise. To all intents and purposes this is now a twin town with Coolangatta, which is north across the border in Queensland.
