On the A22, 87 km north of Bolzano. One of the best-looking of Tyrolean towns on the Isarco riverside with a quaint main street, coloured houses, old shop signs and a historic gatehouse. Skiing and walking on four neighbouring mountains. A popular tourist stopover. In summer the hotels may not be adequate to the demand.
