Wangaratta

A useful stop on the Hume Highway

250 km north of Melbourne. Known as ‘Wang’ locally, this makes a useful stop on the Hume Highway. Wang has a great Jazz Festival in early November, and is the last resting place of the celebrated bushranger Mad Dog Morgan, whose grave can be seen in the local cemetery.
